Swampy, muggy Latina. A town where the main attractions are abandoned nuclear plants. Massimo Sisti is a kind, successful dentist, who got himself exactly where he wanted: he has a quiet life, a big villa surrounded by nature, and a family he adores. His wife Alessandra and his teen daughters, Laura and Ilenia, are his only focus, his source of happiness, and the reward for having led a life of integrity. Nothing could disrupt such a peaceful existence. Except that, one day, Massimo visits his cellar and his life is suddenly taken over by the absurd.
